Sappiness

Dark is my vision,

Darker than the desert night

I loathe your mission,

As it places the highest fright

Oh, sweet palace of my nightmare

How long will this pain be going to last?

My despair is thicker than today’s past

Yeah, most people will not share

Last time I went to a bad place

I didn’t feel the urgency to stop

Felt so good to have such pace

I was getting very near the top

Then I went home to finally rest

Felt secure in my humble nest

I know crying will be temporary

Because it’s written on my obituary

Sappy. Crappy. Happy. Snappy.

Off.
